The Gunpowder is a tailwater fishery located in Baltimore county that supports a stream-bred population of wild brown trout.The first seven miles of river is managed by the state as a catch and release, artificials only section.

Trip includes: Use of all necessary gear, (fly rod, reel, waders, and shoes). Full Day Trips include a wholesome picnic lunch.

FYI: WE PRACTICE CATCH AND RELEASE AS A CONSERVATION TOOL. A MARYLAND NONTIDAL FISHING LICENSE AND A TROUT STAMP ARE REQUIRED ON ALL TRIPS AND MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE SHOP, AND AN ACTIVITY WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED AT THE SHOP PRIOR TO THE TRIP.
