Fly Casting Lessons:
Whether you’re new to the sport, just tuning up for a trip out West or chasing Bonefish and in the Seychelles, we’d be happy to spend some time with you casting out back. Hourly Fee: $50 per person
Fly Fishing Clinic Description:
Clinics are ideal for beginner to intermediate anglers, and especially helpful for experienced anglers that might need a “brush-up” on techniques prior to a destination trip. Clinics are held on the Gunpowder river by a Maryland state licensed and insured fishing guide. A sampling of past clinic titles include: Nymphing, Dries, Streamers, and Entomology. Clinic is limited to four. Fee:$75 per person
Fly Fishing School Description:
Fly Fishing Schools are a great introduction to the sport. Learn how to tie knots, identify fly patterns, and practice basic casting. Unravel the mystery of fly fishing with a patient, wise instructor in a meadow overlooking the Gunpowder river. Schools are held on the Gunpowder river by a Maryland state licensed and insured fishing guide.Schools are limited to four. Fee: $125 per person.
Fly Tying Class Description:
Tying for beginners is a great way to try your own hand at crafting flies out of fur, feathers and yarn. Each class covers materials, tools and six basic patterns to get you started. Tools and materials are provided. Class is limited to six. Fee: $45 per person
Lifecycle classes are ideal for those who have been tying for a while or have taken the beginners class. If you’ve been tying awhile, the lifecycle classes are fun and will take you through patterns that mimic insects at every life stage. Materials are provided but be sure to bring your own tools including a vise, bobbin with thread, scissors, cement, and a half-hitch tool or whip finisher. Class is limited to six. Fee: $45 per person
